I've read a few of these HBR collections and they really are quite valuable but I found that the articles in the later part of the books seem to tail off. Whiteley, co-founder of The Forum Corporation, a leading consulting group that works with companies on customer-focussed quality issues, has written a readable, relatively basic (that doesn't necessarily translate to simple) book on how to become a customer-driven company. I'd be interested in more studies of hegemonic preservation theory in developing countries outside the commonwealth/British legal family.. As I read and delighted in the images, I felt a lightness of being, a hopefulness and a joy. For example, he is very optimistic about the global connectivity allowed by technology, calling it the "global mind." Gore seems to think this we lead to more collaboration and emerging consensus on big political issues. We're the first Americans in our organization doing this, so we can't ask previous Americans in our situation to help us out. With the number of topics, each is handled very compactly.
