In a tropical rain forest in Central America, a red-eyed tree frog spends the night looking for food while avoiding potential predators. This is a nature tale like you've never seen before!. Award-winning photographer Nic Bishop's larger-than-life, gorgeous images document the hunt, which ends happily with the frog settling down in the leaves to spend his daylight hours sleeping! Joy Cowley's simple, readable text makes the frog's story fun, interesting, and accessible to young readers

Preschoolers will be captivated by the slice-of-life story that Joy Cowley and Bishop tell of this adorable amphibian: "Here is an iguana. Teddy bears and ducklings, eat your heart out--there's nothing cuter than a red-eyed tree frog. Do iguanas eat frogs? The red-eyed tree frog does not wait to find out." Sharp close-up photographs of near misses with a snake, a long froggy leap, a moth lunch, and a little, eyelid-exposing nap mesh perfectly with Cowley's engaging narrative. Frogs do not eat iguanas. And award-winning photographer Nic Bishop (The Secrets of Animal Flight) roamed through the rain forests of Central America with rolls and rolls of high-speed film to prove it. The "Did You Know?" section in the back recounts the ins and outs, ups and downs of tree-frog life

This book asks the question of whether AA ( Alcoholics Anonymous) is 1. Mason doesn't go too much into neuroscientific details, but focuses instead on how the injury has affected the injured, their lives and livelihood, their friends and family, and how they have learned or failed to learn to live with their deficits. It should be noted, though, that Gore is very single-minded (unduly, I believe) in what he believes are the solutions to the world's problems. I learned some interesting facts about the people and places who have been immortalized in the Metro, but I expected a lot more. Also, I found the lack of world building to be confusing. I started with his Spires stories and when I finished all those I branched out to his other books that are outside of my usual reading scope. There is a picture that says it is the RMS Majestic being prepared for her overhaul. She teaches us how to say "no" without resentment or anger, how to find our "authentic" voices, and how to handle a wide variety of situations: dating/mar
